Introductory course for specialists with a technical college degree
Particularly in the phase in which career starters enter their (first) employment relationship, it is important to provide tailored induction, guidance and professional support. This is crucial for long-term motivation to stay and personal empowerment. For this reason, a ten-day introductory course in child and youth (association) work was designed and carried out as part of the project. The aim of the course is to promote the retention of skilled workers through quality assurance and the professional (competence) strengthening of existing skilled workers.
Course structure
The course is aimed at lateral entrants or newcomers to child and youth work and youth association work (especially in the fields of §§ 11-12 SGB VIII) who have been working in the field for a maximum of three years. The introductory course lasts a total of 10 days. These are divided into 3 modules of 3 days each and a final day.
Participation in the course is free.
